Emerald Sun

Exterior

Emerald Waterways is Europe’s newest river cruise fleet with stylish and spacious ships, designed to ensure the most comfortable journey. Built in 2015, the Emerald Sun is a boutique river cruise ship that offers more space per guest than most other operators. It also incorporates several innovations, unique to river cruising because it is so new.

StateroomA wide range of spacious staterooms and suites are available. Each one boasts an elegant décor fitted with modern furnishings. They are equipped with an ensuite bathroom, hotel-style bed, flat screen TV with infotainment system, air conditioning, Wi-Fi Internet access and complimentary bottled water. The suites boast a separate bedroom, walk-in closet, complimentary mini bar, and private balcony.

All meals are included onboard and there are two great dining venues to choose from. The Horizon Bar and Lounge, which features fantastic floor-to-ceiling windows, is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink or light snack in complete comfort and the Sun Deck is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

PoolThere are multiple ways to spend your leisure onboard the Emerald Sun. There is a heated swimming pool complete with retractable roof and bar – creating a brilliant onboard oasis for you to relax in, whatever the weather. On selected evenings, the pool area inventively transforms into a cinema showing a collection of classic films and recent releases. The Terrace, which looks out onto the river, is the perfect place to relax while reading a book. Lined with the most comfortable lounge chairs, the Sun Deck offers amazing panoramic views of the ever-changing landscape. There is also a mini-golf putting green, walking track (6.5 laps per mile) and spa.
