Holland America Line ms Eurodam
The ms Eurodam marks Holland America Line's new Signature-class ships. The ms Eurodam furthers the evolution of sophisticated mid-sized ships with 11 passenger decks, a new topside Pan-Asian restaurant and lounge surrounded by panoramic views, an Explorer's Lounge bar, a new Italian restaurant, jewelry boutique, new atrium bar area, an enhanced and reconfigured show lounge and a new photographic and imaging center. On the technical side, the ms Eurodam features the latest state-of-the-art navigation and safety systems.
Following in the Holland America Line tradition, the ms Eurodam features an exquisite art collection based on the theme, "The Dutch Golden Age - An Inexhaustible Tradition". Highlighting works by Dutch masters and contemporary artists, some of the pieces featured include 17th-century watercolor maps by famed cartographer Johannes Vingboons, photo-realistic oil paintings by artist Jan van 't Hoff, and The Nightwatch, Two Minutes Later, a contemporary reinterpretation of Rembrandt's famous painting.
Staterooms aboard the ms Eurodam are simple and comfortable. All cabins are fitted with Luxurious beds featuring Sealy Premium Euro-Top mattresses and finely woven cotton linens, deluxe waffle weave and terry cloth bathrobes, 100% Egyptian cotton towels, premium massage showerheads, magnifying make-up mirrors, hair dryers, fragrant soaps, lotions, shampoo and other bath amenities from Elemis Aromapure, complimentary fresh fruit on request, flat-panel TV and DVD player, walk-in closet, bathtub and shower.
There are several dining options aboard the ms Eurodam. Tamarind Restaurant and Silk Den Lounge are the new Pan-Asian venues with panoramic views of the ocean and Lido Pool area. Lido Restaurant offers a relaxed ambience for all three meals and features a variety of fresh, cooked-to-order specialties. Rembrandt Dining Room features impeccable service and an extensive wine list. Five-course menus include continental cuisine, vegetarian and low-carb options. Pinnacle Grill is an intimate venue that offers an elegant and sophisticated dining experience featuring premium Sterling Silver Beef, seafood dishes, and many select wines. Explorations Cafe is a comfortable, coffee house environment where you can browse through an extensive library, surf the Internet, check email, or simply read the morning paper.
There are several ways to entertain yourself aboard the ms Eurodam. Enjoy a facial, hot stone massage, steam in a thermal suite or have your hair and nails done at the Greenhouse Spa & Salon.
The Mainstage Show Lounge features talented vocalists, dancers, illusionists, comedians and variety acts. The Crow's Nest offers sweeping 270 degree views during the day, and functions as a hip, fashionable nightclub every evening. Relaxation, privacy, and serenity are the hallmarks of the ms Eurodam's spacious new Spa Suites and Staterooms. Private cabanas are also available to reserve. Located on two decks, they are tastefully decorated, filled with amenities and provide an exquisite poolside retreat.
