Cosmos Hotel
Cosmos Hotel
150, Prospect Mira
Moscow, 129366, Russia
Originally constructed for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, this hotel was the gem of the Soviet-era Russian capitol. Renovated several times since the opening, the Cosmos Hotel now offers luxury uncommon in Moscow.
From the wood frame and granite lobby to the neon trimmed rooftop restaurant, the decor of the Cosmos Hotel is lavishly designed to feel fresh, spacious and original. No detail is spared and no stop is pulled in creating a hotel worthy of international recognition.
The hotel has over 2000 rooms on its 25 floors, each with a panoramic view of the city. Rooms come with a desk, comfortable seating areas, and large closets. In addition, every room has an international direct dial phone, TV with both International and Russian satellite channels, refrigerator, internet access port, and natural wood furniture throughout.
The Cosmos is an excellent place to relax and unwind after a long day of travel or sight seeing. With five different restaurants to choose from, you can enjoy fine foods without ever leaving the building. The Kalinka Restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the eclectic menu includes over 200 dishes. Every night at dinner-time a folk band performs Russian folk songs.
You may also want to dine at the Konfuci, the in-house Chinese gourmet restaurant, the Planet Cosmos, the panoramic view restaurant at the 25th floor, or at either of the bars which serve lighter meals all day.
The Cosmos is more than just a place to stay. The hotel boasts an international casino, a bowling alley, a full gym and spa, indoor lap pool and hot tubs, and even a night club.
