Guest RoomsAccommodation at the Protea Hotel President comprises 349 well-appointed rooms and suites on the beautiful Bantry Bay beachfront in Cape Town, South Africa. Exclusively spacious rooms and suites overlook the Atlantic Ocean or Lion`s Head, offering facilities one would expect of a world-class hotel. All rooms and suites contain a remote control television, hairdryer, telephone, sleeper couch, individual air conditioning, room safe and electronic locking devices on all doors.

Dining at the ProteaThe Islands Restaurant serves a sumptuous buffet breakfast, a la carte lunch and buffet dinner. Varied entertainment in the form of Bands and a pianist, or wine tasting, creating the ideal atmosphere for guests wishing to relax and enjoy a splendid meal. The Senate Bar is open from 2pm till late and the staff look forward to serving you the cocktail of your choice. There is also a lounge area in which guests may relax with sundowners.

Hotel PoolWhen you're not visiting famous Clifton Beach, the Cape Town CBD or the sensational V&A Waterfront nearby, you can relax next to the hotel`s large swimming pool, step into the hairdressing salon, or curio shop conveniently located on the premises. If you`re looking to do some shopping, the Canal Walk Shopping Centre has a scheduled shuttle which will pick you up and drop you back right outside the hotel's front door. The V&A Waterfront also runs a shuttle which stops near the hotel.

Spend lazy afternoons at the swimming pool, taking in the stunning views of the beach, or enjoy a number of sporting facilities (including watersports) in the vicinity. These include Tennis, squash, bowls, golf, jetskis and a gym.
