Scandic Grand Marina is one of Finland's most beautiful pieces of hotel architecture. It was built by the famous Finnish architect, Lars Sonck, in the early 20th century and served as a customs warehouse. It has now undergone a truly exceptional renovation and conversion into a state-of-the-art hotel retaining the character and architectural splendors of the original building.

Hotel Grand Marina is located in the centre of Helsinki by the harbor in the oldest and most beautiful quarter of the city, allowing guests easy access by public transport to all parts of the city. The Grand Marina offers a wide range of services and excellent accommodations at a reasonable and affordable prices.

Guest Rooms All guest rooms have been refurnished to make your stay a comfortable one, with amenities including air conditioning, hair dryer, radio, minibar, and cable TV. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.


Lounge The hotel boasts a wide variety of restaurants, a cocktail bar, and coffee shop. The lobby bar is a popular place for meeting friends or just watching the world go by over a special coffee, a glass of good wine, a cocktail, or a beer. In summer, enjoy Makasiini's sunny terrace.
