Day 1-3

After an overnight flight, arrive in Arusha, Tanzania. On the following day, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, passing by picturesque African villages and maize, coffee and banana plantations. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, leopards, tree-climbing lions, and many more during your first game drive of your African adventure!

Day 4-5

Serengeti National Park
|
|
Seek out wildlife as you journey to your next destination: Serengeti National Park. Spend two days enjoying 3 game drives and spot the "Big 5," over 500 bird species, giraffes, zebras, Grant's gazelles, hyenas, and possibly the Great Migration! Soar high over the vast plains and wildlife below on an optional early morning hot air balloon safari.

Day 6-7

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
|
|
En route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stop at Olduvai Gorge, located between the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The following day, descend 2,000 feet into Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and one of the seven natural wonders of the world, for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch.

Day 8
|

Arusha
|
|
Travel through the scenic Rift Valley to return to Arusha. After lunch, visit the Tanzanite Museum, which provides a fascinating glimpse into the world of this amazing gemstone. Both audio and visual presentations, including a replica of a Tanzanite mine shaft, along with a tour, gives the experience of the history, geology, and passion surrounding Tanzanite.

Day 9-10
|

Taveta, Kenya & Taita Hills Game Sanctuary
|
|
Today, the second half of your journey begins in Kenya! After settling into your lodge and visiting the in-house museum, set off on another exciting game drive. The next day, visit a tree planting project aimed at enhancing the health of the animal habitat and recovering the biodiversity of the sanctuary before embarking on an afternoon game drive.

Day 11-12

|
Amboseli National Park
|
|
Head to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and home to a wealth of wildlife and especially known for its elephants. Over the span of two days, enjoy 3 exciting game drives throughout the park, as well as some free time to relax.

Day 13-14
|
|
Nairobi
|
|
Depart for Nairobi and start your visit with hand-feeding giraffes at the Langata Giraffe Center. Then, stop at the Karen Blixen Museum and the Kazuri Bead Factory. Spend the following morning at the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphans' Nursery, where young, orphaned elephant babies are hand-raised until they are released back to their natural habitat. Your adventure comes to an end as you transfer to the airport and arrive in the USA on the following day.
