Peak Tram

After breakfast, embark on a thrilling ascent 1,811 feet above sea level via the iconic Peak Tram. From the top of Victoria Peak, soak in the mesmerizing views of Victoria Harbour, one of the world's busiest waterways, bustling with ferries, cargo ships, and traditional junks. Be sure to capture photos of the breathtaking scenery before exploring the eclectic offerings of Stanley Market, where you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere and shop for unique souvenirs and treasures.

Next, head to Repulse Bay. Named after a 19th-century navy battle where British warships repulsed a fleet of pirate junks, this picturesque beach on the southern coast is known for its golden sands, clear blue waters, and scenic surroundings.

Visit the exquisitely decorated Man Mo Temple. This historic temple, built in the mid-19th century, is dedicated to two revered deities: Man Cheong, the god of literature, and Mo Tai, the god of war. Next, depart for West Kowloon and take a panoramic drive through the busy streets, catching glimpses of landmarks like the International Commerce Center and the striking architecture of the West Kowloon Cultural District. Changing of the guard, Gyeongbokgung Palace

Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a harmonious blend of ancient tradition and cutting-edge innovation. As a sprawling metropolis, it boasts historic palaces, energetic markets, futuristic architecture, and a vibrant arts scene, making it a cultural, technological, and historical hub in East Asia.

After breakfast, board your touring coach and begin your city tour. First, stop at Gwanghwamun Plaza, where you'll find the statue of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-Sin. Walk to Gwanghwamun gate, the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, to witness the changing of the guard ceremony. This tradition has been performed for centuries in Korea and is a symbol of the nation's rich culture and history. Next, visit the National Folk Museum within the palace grounds, which offers a deep dive into Korea's traditional history.

From Gyeongbokgung, head towards Bukchon Hanok Village, a picturesque neighborhood with a mix of conventional Korean houses (hanoks) and contemporary establishments. The village offers a unique glimpse into classic Korean architecture and is a fantastic spot for photography.

Continue to Insadong, a must-see neighborhood located in the heart of Seoul. Insadong is steeped in tradition and has an abundance of art galleries, antique shops, craft stores, and established teahouses. End your day at Gwangjang traditional market, one of the oldest and largest in Korea. The most popular section is the food street, which caters to a wide range of popular foods, including Gimbap, Mung Bean Pancake, Tteok-bokki, and Eomuk. Enjoy sampling some of the treats for a true taste of local Korean food.

Return to your hotel to freshen up before dinner. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a Korean-style BBQ dinner.

Welcome to Jeju Island, a volcanic island renowned for its breathtaking natural landscapes. Your guide and driver will meet you upon arrival to greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

After lunch on your own, your exploration of Jeju island begins with a visit to Jeju Haenyeo Museum, a tribute to the island's legendary Haenyeo, or local women divers, who use traditional methods and equipment to collect seafood and marine resources from the surrounding waters. After exploring the museum’s insightful displays, have the opportunity to attend a Haenyo demonstration performance, witnessing these renowned divers in action.

Continue to Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as Sunrise Peak, for a hike up this unusual geological wonder. The leisurely hike takes around 30 minutes and rewards you with awe-inspiring vistas of the surrounding coastline and the mesmerizing volcanic terrain. After enjoying the views, return on foot to the base of the peak.

This evening, enjoy a Haenyeo dinner, sampling the flavors of the sea and the culture of these remarkable women.

Day 11 Jeju Island

Jeongbang Falls

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Jeju’s southern coast to visit Jeongbang Falls, one of the few waterfalls in Asia to flow directly into the sea. Admire the falls and the spectacular surroundings with dramatic cliffs, lush vegetation, and the sound of crashing waves from the nearby sea.

Continue to Jusangjeolli Cliffs, known for their unique hexagonal basalt columns formed through volcanic activities. Through designated paths and platforms, you can take in the scenery and capture photographs of this geological marvel. Enjoy lunch on your own at a local restaurant.

This afternoon, your exploration of Jeju Island continues with a drive along the southern coastline. Take an easy 20-30-minute hike to Sanbanggulsa Temple, a cliffside rock cave. Explore the cave and enjoy the views from the cliffside before continuing on foot to nearby Bomusa Temple and Sanbangsan Mountain Park.

After, stop at Sanbangsan Carbonated Hot Springs, a popular natural hot spring. Enjoy a soak in the springs, which are believed to have various health benefits, including relaxation and skin improvement.

This evening, visit Dongmun Market, a vibrant market that blends the elements of a street market, night market, traditional market, and seafood market. Take a walk through the market and sample an array of delectable treats.

Day 12 Jeju Island

Following breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Geomunoreum for a hike through the largest lava tube system on the island. Prior to the hike, get an overview of the terrain and its geological history with a short visit to the Jeju World Natural Heritage Center, conveniently located across from the Geomunoreum information desk.

Day 13 Depart Seoul/Arrive USA
